Amplify Secures New Funding

We are thrilled to announce that we have received additional funding from Activate Learning's Personal and Community Development Learning Scheme to increase our Amplify community offering and thus reaching more partners in the Cherwell District!

In addition to running FREE creative art classes at Banbury Mosque and drama sessions at Activate Learning, Let's Play Project and The Hill Community Centre, we will be running regular creative workshops at The Sunshine Centre and Style Acre in the New Year, as well as tailored sessions for BYHP and EMBS College.

The Amplify programme was originally launched in September across Banbury this month with support from Cherwell District Council, The Ragdoll Foundation, Bouttell Bequest, Oxfordshire Community Foundation. The programme helps to raise the voices and aspirations of the young people of Banbury regardless of their backgrounds or differences through a weekly on-going participatory programme of creative workshops that seeks to overcome the barriers that groups of local young people face in accessing CTC projects.

We are extremely thankful to Activate Learning for their support in helping us expand our existing offering to more communities in and around the Banbury area.
